The film is directed by Christian Sesma, who specializes in low-budget, independent genre fare. He began his career with the 2005 action short “6:30,” before following it up an indie horror feature “On Bloody Sunday,” about a serial killer that stalks teens on MySpace. Three years later, he directs “Shoot the Hero,” about a couple who becomes a part of a jewel heist while shopping for wedding rings. In 2013, he directed and produced the “Vigilante Diaries” web series that also starred Jason Mewes and Paul Sloan which aired on the now-defunct site Chill.com.
Paul Sloan is best known for his roles in the “Vigilante Diaries” series, the crime drama “Stiletto,” and most recently, in “I Am Wrath,” an action film that stars John Travolta. Meanwhile, Jason Mewes is best known for being Jay of the comedy duo Jay and Silent Bob, who appear in many of Kevin Smith’s films including “Clerks,” “Mallrats,” “Chasing Amy,” “Dogma,” and of course, “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.”
“Vigilante Diaries” is currently available on VOD and digital platforms.
