Partially fulfilling my hopes of seeing a real-life monster terrorize characters from “The Hunger Games,” a first teaser for the Benicio Del Toro– and Josh Hutcherson-led “Paradise Lost” sees that franchise star get some ominous vibes from Pablo Escobar. After all, we’re dealing with one of Colombia’s greatest monsters.

Actor Andrea Di Stefano makes his feature writing-directing debut on the title. American surfer Nick (Hutcherson) gets caught up with the legendary drug kingpin after starting a romantic relationship with his niece (Claudia Traisac). And to think — he was just giving his brother (Brady Corbet) a visit! RADiUS-TWC have rights to “Paradise Lost” and are expected to release it this year.
