An exclusive new clip has been released for the upcoming film, “Wildlike.” The movie stars Ella Purnell as Mackenzie, a young girl sent to live with her uncle in Alaska. When her uncle turns his violent attentions toward Mackenzie, she flees, resolving to hike through the Alaskan wilds and find her way back to her home in Seattle.

Along the way, Mackenzie meets another wanderer, Bartlett, played by Bruce Greenwood, who, despite his efforts to shake her loose, becomes Mackenzie’s only chance at survival. Together, the two learn to rely on each as they brave the dangers before them.

The clip above finds Bartlett lecturing Mackenzie on how to behave while traveling. He tells her to leave no trace, not even a stepped-upon flower or a broken twig. When explaining how to use bear spray, Bartlett reminds Mackenzie that when it comes to the wilderness, “You know nothing.”

“Wildlike” has played at over 150 festivals and has won over 30 Best Film awards. “Wildlike” will be released in theaters and On Demand starting September 25.
