Watch: Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein Actually Have Sex in ‘Portlandia’ Season 6

After five full seasons of platonically sleeping in separate twin beds, “Portlandia’s” Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein are finally going where no fan thought they would go before – they are going to have sex.

In the third episode of “Portlandia’s” sixth season, Fred and Carrie will get intimate in exactly the way you would expect: For Carrie, this means “eyes closed, arms out,” and for Fred, this means being aroused by a New Yorker article on farmers’ markets.

The IFC comedy will return to its sketch format after Season 5’s departure into a more anthologized exploration of Portland’s quirky and alternative residents. “Portlandia” Season 6 premieres on IFC January 21. Check out the clip above.
