Watch: Gillian Anderson and ‘Hannibal’ Return in Creepy and Thought-Provoking PETA Ad

NBC’s “Hannibal” is no more, but fans can get another 30-second taste of the show with this chilling PETA ad (provided they’ve seen the Season 3 finale — spoilers above!). The ad reunited Bryan Fuller and Gillian Anderson, who has frequently voiced her support of PETA and at one point provided narration for a PETA video exposing footage from rabbit farms in China and France. 

The ad is creepy and subdued, showing a lavish meal of roasted meat before panning down for a shocking reveal. The ad is intended to use the show’s theme of cannibalism to reflect on the implications of eating meat from animals.
