“He-Man and The Masters Of The Universe” is back. The animated series that aired its last episode in 1985 is returning for an animated feature reboot titled “The Curse Of The Three Terrors,” produced by Super7.

The animated feature will premiere at San Diego’s Comic Con on Wednesday, July 20 in a giant standing room only parking lot. The movie will then hit iTunes and Google Play on August 1.

Here’s the official synopsis of the original animated series: The most powerful man in the universe, He-Man, goes against the evil forces of Skeletor to save the planet Eternia and to protect the secrets of Castle Grayskull.

“He-Man” was set on the fictional planet of Eternia, where Prince Adam, son of Eternia’s King Randor and Queen Marlena magically turns into He-Man every time he holds the Sword of Power and utters the phrase “By the Power of Grayskull!” When joined by his allies Battle Cat, The Sorceress, Teela, Man-At-Arms and Orko, He-Man fights the evil forces of Skeletor.

Filmation produced 130 episodes of the original show starting in 1983. The characters were based on the toy line Mattel’s Masters of the Universe.
