Watch: Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg Skewer Sexist Interview Questions on Funny or Die
Press junkets are arduous tasks for many actors, though more so for female stars. Being asked ludicrous questions that often do not relate to the film, many women find their personal lives invaded for the sake of superficial and belittling information. Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart, who star in the upcoming stoner action-comedy “American Ultra,” are acutely aware of this problem and had some fun with it in an interview they did with one another for Funny or Die.
The interview begins with Eisenberg peculiarly asking Stewart how she bulked up for the film, only for them to realize that their questions may have been switched. Eisenberg becomes increasingly uncomfortable with the overbearing questions, getting grilled for possibly being pregnant since he’s “covering up,” while Stewart breezes through her surprisingly easy questions, like naming her favorite sports team.
