Watch: This Exclusive Insane Fight Scene From ‘Into the Badlands’ is Not For the Squeamish
AMC has released another insane fight scene from the upcoming series “Into the Badlands” ahead of its premiere in November. The post-apocalyptic kung fu western is loosely based on the 16th century Chinese novel “Journey to the West” and stars Daniel Wu as Sunny, a feudal warrior on a journey to enlightenment in a dangerous feudal land. If what we’ve seen so far is any indication the show looks to be ultraviolent, stylized and generally bananas, with fight scenes that aren’t afraid to get graphic (and creative) with the bloodshed.
Wu doesn’t make an appearance in this clip, which introduces Emily Beecham as The Widow, a ruthless knife-wielding warrior with six-inch heels on her boots that don’t stop her from kicking some serious ass. Watch her slice and dice the entire population of a bar in this clip.
“Into the Badlands” premieres November 15 on AMC.
