Who knows why he did it, but according to Business Insider Will Ferrell approached Pabst Brewing Co. and asked them if he could make some ads for Old Milwaukee. For free. And, duh, of course they said yes. The result is three spots, set (and only airing, it seems) in Davenport, Iowa. And yes, they're great.
Basically, Ferrell is up to what he does best, offering a gently skewered take on beer ads of yore and infusing them with his own brand of edginess, and it's only in the third spot where he really wilds out. But otherwise, these are odd, charming, and yeah, pretty damn funny. Anyway, crack open a brew and watch 'em below. [via Vulture]
