When cinematographer Ofer Rozenman and his girlfriend visited New York last month, he decided to chronicle their trip with a short film highlighting their favorite places around the city — including Times Square, Broadway, the Memorial at Ground Zero, a concert at Barclays Center and restaurants such as The Meatball Shop. He took 6,000 images and edited them together into this stop motion video.
“During September ’13 me and my girlfriend visited (again) our favorite city in the world – NYC. Instead of taking one still of every place we’ve been at, we took 50, in order to make a stop motion video out of it. We’ve ended up with over 140GB and 6K images,” wrote Rozenman on Vimeo, where he posted the final film. Rozenman notes that he shot the film using a Sony RX1 and didn’t have time for a tripod.
