Werner Herzog has lent his voice to Adam Mansbach and Ricardo Cortés’ infamous children’s book “Go the F**k to Sleep.” His reading will debut tonight at the New York Public Library, followed by a conversation about children’s sleep deprivation and insomnia between Mansbach, Cortés and Paul Holdengraber, the NYPL’s director of LIVE.
The book is currently #2 on Amazon’s bestseller list and is gaining notoriety as lobbyists around the world ask booksellers to ban the book.
There’s also a version of the book as read by Samuel L. Jackson, which is available for free download (today only!) at Audible.com.
Meanwhile, Herzog’s film “Cave of Forgotten Dreams” is currently in theaters, breaking box office records.
