Summer is nearly over, which means you have another month or so before the back-to-school sales disappear. But you don’t have to be a student to redeem some of the red hot deals floating around the web, like Verizon’s current promotion that gets you a free Samsung Chromebook 4 when you sign up for the Fios Gigabit Connection internet plan between now and September 9.

The Samsung Chromebook 4 is equipped with 32GB of eMMC storage and 4GB of RAM (Chromebook 4 is available in 64GB as well but it’s not apart of the Verizon Fios promo). The laptop has an 11.6” HD LED display screen with an Intel/Celeron Processor N4000 and 720p HD camera. Other features include Bluetooth 4.0, stereo speakers, internal mics, USB ports, and a headphone/mic jack.

Whether you’re streaming, distance learning, gaming, or video chatting, Verizon Fios serves up fast and reliable internet for multiple devices and expanded bandwidth for 4K compatible picture quality and lag-free gaming. The Fios Gigabit Connection costs $89.99 a month for lightening fast internet with a wired speed of up to 940/880 Mbps (average upload and download speeds range between 750-940 Mbps but speeds may vary depending on the device or how many users are on the network). Also included in the package: a WiFi router and extender, 2TB of storage, and a $40 discount off your Verizon Unlimited Wireless plan.

Weighing just 2.6 pounds with a battery that lasts up to 12.5 hours, the Chromebook 4 is suitable for work and play and it’s user-friendly enough for children and adults. While it doesn’t have the 360-degree swivel screen found on the Chromebook 3, the Chromebook 4 has a full keyboard, a touch pad, and voice command to access Google Assistant. You also have quick access to Google Docs, Google Drive, and the Google Play Store where you can download millions of apps.

If you’re shopping around for the best internet service, Verizon offers a couple of cheaper Fios options, starting with the 400 Mbps plan for $64.99 a month. The plan is perfect for a multiple users, binging, streaming, and sharing large files. The internet package includes a free Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and $30 off the Verizon Unlimited Wireless plan. There’s also a $39.99 plan with 200 Mbps for streaming and downloading TV shows, movies, and photos.

Elsewhere in the land of discounts, Verizon will give you a free iPhone 12 Mini with the purchase of one 64GB phone with a new line on select Unlimited plans. Verizon Wireless customers can also receive up to a year of free Disney+ (or a Disney+ bundle which comes with Hulu and ESPN+) as well as subscriptions to Apple Music, Discovery+, and other perks. Verizon has even more closeout deals available, including up to 50% off select earbuds, iPhone cases, screen protectors, and other eligible accessories with the purchase of five items or more in a single transaction.
