As Oscar voting closes Friday, until the nominations on January 23, the DGA nominees give a clear picture of where the Oscar race stands.
“The Post” director even offered up a few names in case Academy voters are having a tough time remembering, from Patty Jenkins to Greta Gerwig.
“Of course we want to see women in the best director category,” BAFTA Chair Jane Lush said in an official statement.
