Co-star and series co-creator Jason Sudeikis opened up about the "pressure" to deliver a great finale for the Apple TV+ series.
"I'm very proud of them, but unfortunately, I can never show them," the "Ted Lasso" star said.
"I love all of these characters and want it to end well, but Jason has a very clear vision and always has," Goldstein said of the Season 3 writing process. "No one is phoning it."
Ford stars in the Apple TV+ series written and co-executive produced by "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" star Segel.
"It’s entirely up to Jason [Sudeikis]," Goldstein said. "We’ve been writing this as if it’s the end, but it might not be. But I really don’t know."
'Ted Lasso' once again leads the Best Supporting Actor in Comedy Series category for the 2022 Emmys, with Goldstein as the standout.
Goldstein says the hit Apple TV+ show has "so many characters that I’m sure weren’t thought of on day one."
"Are you f**king with me?" Goldstein recalled his shock at the cameo casting. "You know I’m basically like a skinny comedian?"
"It was a fun three seconds," the "Ted Lasso" Emmy winner joked of his surprise post-credits appearance.
The Emmy-winning Apple TV+ series stars Jason Sudeikis as a fish-out-of-water soccer coach in the U.K.
