Titled “Crystal Lake,” the A24-backed show will be a prequel to the iconic slasher film franchise.
Bryan Fuller, who wrote for “Star Trek: Voyager” and “Deep Space Nine” before co-creating “Discovery,” traces the franchise’s LGBTQ history.
The creator also said a possible “Hannibal” Season 4 could further explore LGBTQ themes: “There’s a lot more story to be told.”
