The 2020 Cinema Eye Honors Awards Ceremony will take place Monday, January 6, at the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens, New York.
Other top contenders include National Geographic’s “Apollo: Mission to the Moon” and HBO’s “Leaving Neverland.” Nonfiction Feature nominations follow November 7.
“Minding the Gap” and “Free Solo” were the most awarded documentaries, with “Hale County This Morning, This Evening” winning the top honor.
This year’s winners will be announced at the 2019 Honors Awards Ceremony, to be held on Thursday, January 10.
The full list of nonfiction film and craft nominees will be revealed on Thursday, November 8.
