The "Inventing Anna" and "Ozark" star is set to play Madonna in a musical biopic directed by the "Like a Prayer" pop icon.
The Emmy-winning stars and writer Chris Mundy attended a recent FYC event, and told moderator Jimmy Kimmel a spinoff would need "ghosts."
Inspired by true events, the film also stars Hugo Weaving and "Matrix Resurrections" breakout Jessica Henwick.

"There were certain things that if I was talking it would be a combination of Ruth and Anna," Garner said.
