The first sketch of the new season proved that, even if "SNL" has a lot of problems to deal with, the show is in on the joke.
The trio make their "SNL" hosting debuts during Season 48 alongside the "SNL" cast sans fan favorites Pete Davidson, Aidy Bryant, and Kate McKinnon.
"For him to share 'Top Gun' with me and a lot of these other young actors it's just been such a wild ride, and it's still going," Teller said.
"Without even skipping a beat Tom goes, 'Yeah, I was born with it, kid,'" Teller said. "So that was a very Tom moment for me."
