“They need us more than ever,” Weaver said, as the actors explained their affinity for James Cameron’s performance capture technique to IndieWire.
“I used to think, ‘Oh, it would be fun to direct, but I don’t want to have to deal with those people,'” Weaver said.
“It’s a kind of eternal story,” Weaver said of the 1988 workplace comedy starring Melanie Griffith and Harrison Ford.
