Andrew Dominik would love to see Criterion release the three-hour version of his 2007 western.
"It doesn’t exist now, and that’s a shame," Deakins says of the original "Jesse James" cut.
Deakins' work on Andrew Dominik's historical epic is often credited as some of the best cinematography of the 21st century.
