Disney Rejected Michael Jackson’s Pitch for a ‘Hunchback of Notre Dame’ Soundtrack

“It was like somebody dropped a hot poker into a fragile bowl with explosives,” said composer Alan Menken about Jackson’s attempt to soundtrack the 1996 film.
