Director Gareth Evans left the high-octane world of “The Raid” behind for his new Netflix horror film, “Apostle.” Here, he discusses the film’s influences.
From the action style to the film’s setting, fans can expect some major changes in the American reimagining of Gareth Evans’s acclaimed action film.
The two previously collaborated on “The Grey.”
The film will screen in the Midnight Madness section of The Toronto International Film Festival on Friday, September 16th.
That English-language remake probably isn’t happening, though.
