The daytime talk show host and actress said she stands in "solidarity" with the current WGA strike and will host the 2024 awards instead.
"We've been planning for this," said CEO Bob Bakish, while studio CFO Naveen Chopra praised A.I.
"I’m very excited to get back to it as soon as the WGA gets a fair deal," co-showrunner and executive producer Ashley Lyle tweeted on Tuesday.
The writers strike means late-night TV hosts will again carry payroll — and a lot of it.
