The major promise of this upcoming fifth season of “Better Call Saul” has been that Bob Odenkirk’s Jimmy McGill will be even closer than ever to his complete transformation into the Saul Goodman of “Breaking Bad.” Based on this exclusive clip — which you can watch above — it truly appears that this is one promise you can really count on.

At this point in the critically-acclaimed AMC series, not only has Jimmy decided to go all-in on practicing law under his alias Saul Goodman, he’s doing so out of a tent. While perhaps not the most sophisticated base of operation, that hasn’t seemed to hurt business.

From this clip, while Jimmy’s sketchy — but constant — clientele are all coming specifically for the cell phones, he’s making sure to sell himself and his services in the process. Making himself No. 1 on the speed dial — “You press that and ‘POOF,’ I’m there.” — Jimmy pleads his case as to why these individuals better call Saul. And it’s a pretty good case, despite his awkwardness when it actually comes to attempting to identify with these people.

“Why call the cell phone guy? ‘Cause I’m not just the cell phone guy. I’m the lawyer who’s gonna fight for you.”

At this year’s TCAs, showrunner and executive producer Peter Gould announced that “Better Call Saul” would conclude after its sixth season. “When we started, what we wanted to do is tell the complete story. I’m happy to be able to say we’re going to be able to do that,” Gould said. “Thank God for AMC and Sony, we’ve been picked up for Season 6. […] It’s going to be 13 episodes, and I was so proud to be a part of ‘Breaking Bad’ because I felt that Vince [Gilligan] and the rest of us managed to stick the landing on those 62 episodes. And we’re going to try like hell to stick the landing on these 63 episodes.”

“Better Call Saul” returns for its fifth season on Sunday, February 23, at 10 p.m. ET, with an encore presentation of the season premiere at 8 p.m. ET on Monday, February 24, followed by the season’s second episode at 9 p.m. ET. Subsequent episodes of the season will air Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET.
